This photo of the TransAmerica Pyramid in San Francisco, California is on one of the very first pages of a very thick book and the first time Shayne's work has been printed by National Geographic. This photo was taken in the middle of the night on a low fog night where the pyramid just so happened to be lit up. On average the pyramid is only lit like this 2-3 nights a year and is done at random. Large prints of this image are available by using the contact page.

This focused Deer in black and white was recently published in The Point Reyes Light along with an article about the local photography by Shayne Skower. Shayne's work is quickly being recognized by all of the surrounding towns of his home in Northern California. This image was also featured on the internet as a top 100 animal photographs of all time!
